Battery Health & Analyzer • Effective: September 10, 2026 • Updated: September 10, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how Battery Health & Analyzer ("we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, shares, and protects information when you use our Android mobile application (the "App").

By downloading, installing, or using the App, you agree to the practices described in this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.

1. Who We Are

Battery Health & Analyzer is a battery monitoring application that shows charging status, temperature, and related device readings, and can alert you when the battery is full, low, unplugged, or hot. We are the developer and operator of the App.

The App does not require you to create an account. Most of your battery readings, alarm settings, and charging history are stored locally on your device. We use third-party services (such as Google AdMob and Firebase) for advertising, analytics, crash reporting, remote configuration, and optional push notifications. You can stop monitoring at any time from Settings.

2. Information We Collect

We collect information in the following categories:

2.1 Information stored locally on your device

The App stores certain information on your device using local storage (SharedPreferences and on-device files). This data is used to provide core App functionality and is not uploaded to our own servers. Locally stored information may include:

2.2 Information collected automatically

When you use the App, certain information may be collected automatically by us and by third-party services integrated into the App, including:

2.3 Information you provide voluntarily

If you choose to contact us or leave feedback, you may voluntarily provide information such as:

We only receive this information if you choose to send it to us (for example, by opening your email app through the feedback feature).

2.4 Information we do not collect

The App does not require account registration and we do not intentionally collect:

3. How We Use Your Information

We use collected information to:

4. Local Storage and On-Device Data

Most battery readings, alarm settings, and charging history remain on your device. Uninstalling the App or clearing the App's storage from Android settings will remove locally stored App data from your device, subject to your device's operating system behavior.

Alarm and notification settings are stored locally. The App requests notification permission so your device can show battery alerts. Monitoring may continue in the background while enabled.

5. Third-Party Services

The App uses third-party services that may collect information according to their own privacy policies. These services include:

Google / Firebase

  • Firebase Analytics — usage and event analytics
  • Firebase Crashlytics — crash and error reporting
  • Firebase Cloud Messaging — push notifications
  • Firebase Remote Config — feature flags and ad unit configuration
  • Google AdMob — advertising
  • Google Fonts — typography used in the App interface
  • Google Play — App distribution and in-app rating flows

Additional resources:

We do not control how these third parties process data. We encourage you to review their privacy policies.

6. Advertising

The App displays ads provided by Google AdMob. AdMob and its partners may use advertising identifiers, cookies or similar technologies, device information, and interaction data to serve, measure, and personalize ads where permitted by law.

Ad formats used in the App may include:

You may be able to limit ad personalization through your Android device settings: Settings → Google → Ads → Opt out of Ads Personalization (wording may vary by device and Android version).

Even if you opt out of personalized ads, you may still see non-personalized advertisements.

7. Analytics and Crash Reporting

We use Firebase Analytics to understand App usage, such as which screens are viewed, when alarms are toggled, when charging starts or stops, when ads are shown, and when users share the App. This helps us improve features and content.

We use Firebase Crashlytics to collect crash logs, stack traces, and limited diagnostic context (such as last alarm type or battery percentage) to identify and fix technical problems. Crash reporting is enabled in release builds to protect development workflows.

Analytics and crash data are generally collected in aggregated or pseudonymous form and is not used by us to identify you personally.

8. Push Notifications

With your permission, the App may send push notifications through Firebase Cloud Messaging. This requires a device messaging token and notification permission on your device.

You can disable notifications at any time through your device settings. If you open a notification, we may log that the notification was opened for analytics purposes.

9. Permissions

The Android App may request or use the following device permissions:

Permission Purpose
Internet Required to load ads, analytics, crash reporting, push messaging, fonts, and external links
Advertising ID (AD_ID) Used by ad and measurement partners to deliver and measure advertisements
Network state Used to determine connectivity for ads and related services
Notifications (POST_NOTIFICATIONS) Used to show battery alarms, monitoring status, and optional push messages
Foreground service Used to continue battery monitoring while the screen is locked or the App is in the background
Boot completed Used to restart monitoring after reboot if you enable start on boot
Vibrate May be used for alarm feedback depending on your settings and device behavior
Wake lock Used to keep the device awake long enough to deliver alarms reliably
Battery optimization Used to ask Android to ignore battery restrictions so alerts can still fire in the background
Exact alarms Used to schedule snooze and timed alarm actions when Android allows them
Full-screen intent Used to show a full-screen alarm when the device is locked
Modify system settings Optional. Used for power-saver tools such as brightness, screen timeout, and rotation if you grant this permission
Display over other apps Optional. Used for the floating temperature widget if you enable it

The App does not request access to your camera, microphone, photo library, contacts, calendar, or precise location.

10. How We Share Information

We do not sell your personal information.

We may share information in these limited circumstances:

11. Data Retention

12. Your Choices and Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights regarding your information, including the right to:

You can take the following actions directly in the App or on your device:

12.1 European Economic Area (EEA), UK, and Switzerland

If you are in the EEA, UK, or Switzerland, we process personal data where permitted by applicable law, including to perform our contract with you (providing the App), based on legitimate interests (such as improving and securing the App), and with your consent where required (such as for notifications or certain advertising activities).

You may lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority if you believe our processing violates applicable law.

12.2 United States Privacy Rights

Depending on your state of residence, you may have additional rights under laws such as the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA/CPRA). We do not sell personal information. You may contact us to request access to or deletion of information we maintain about you, subject to legal exceptions.

13. Children's Privacy

Battery Health & Analyzer is intended for a general audience and is not directed at children under the age of 13 (or the minimum age required in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will take appropriate steps to delete it.

Ads in the App are configured with a maximum content rating of PG and without child-directed treatment specified, but parents and guardians should supervise minors' use of the App.

14. International Data Transfers

Information processed by third-party providers such as Google may be transferred to and processed in countries other than your own, including the United States. These providers may use appropriate safeguards as required by applicable law.

15. Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect information. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Because much of your battery history and settings are stored locally on your device, you are also responsible for securing your device with a passcode, biometric lock, or other protections supported by your operating system.

16. Battery Readings Disclaimer

Battery Health & Analyzer provides battery and charging information for general personal use only. Temperature, current, power, health, and similar values are whatever Android exposes on your hardware. They are not medical, safety, or laboratory measurements.

Do not rely on this App as the sole protection against battery damage, overheating, or fire risk. Follow your device manufacturer's charging and safety instructions.

18. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. If changes are material, we may provide additional notice within the App or through other reasonable means. Your continued use of the App after an update means you accept the revised policy.
